CDC Youth Violence Prevention Grants
The National Center for Injury Prevention and Control at the Federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will award a pair of $500,000 grants to assess the efficacy of community policy, economic and environmental changes aimed at reducing youth violence. Non-profit and public agencies are eligible to apply. Letters of intent due 1/26/09; applications due 2/23/09.
The Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools has announced applications for its Grant Competition to Prevent High-Risk Drinking or Violent Behavior Among College Students.
Awards are are given for those who develop or enhance, implement, and evaluate campus-and/or community based strategies to prevent high risk behavior among students.
