Funding Announcement: Grant Opportunity



Grants available to Rice County schools for prevention programs

 

Through federal Drug-Free Communities grants, the Healthy Community Initiative and Rice County Chemical Health Coalition are pleased of again offer funding to support school-based projects to reduce youth drug and alcohol use.

 

$10,000 in funding is available. Any Rice County school district or individual school is eligible to apply.

 

Proposed projects must involve:

·         the review/use of evidence-based programs (for a database of evidenced-based programs, visit http://www.nrepp.samhsa.gov/)

·         young people participating in the review of the programs
