Community Strategic Prevention Framework State Incentive Grant
Grant: The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS), through its Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division (ADAD), is seeking Proposals from qualified Responders to implement the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) through the work of local community-based coalitions to address Minnesota’s following three substance abuse prevention priorities: 1)Past 30-day alcohol use among sixth through twelfth graders; 2) Recent binge drinking among ninth through twelfth graders; 3)Recent binge drinking among 18-25 year olds
Estimated Number of Awards: Between eight and 15 Community Awards
Estimated Award Amount: Phase One (which will vary in length) will range from $50,000 to $150,000; Phase Two will range from $150,000 to $280,000/year.
Eligible Applicants: Nonprofit Organizations and Local Units of Government. Local Units of Government are defined as municipal units of government such as counties, cities, townships, recognized tribes, and school districts.
