Idaho State Fiscal Year 2013 Request for Applications

Benchmark Research & Safety is pleased to announce the release of the State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2013 Substance Abuse Prevention Request for Funding Applications (RFA). Benchmark is the statewide Substance Abuse Prevention Administrator for the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare (DHW). They administer a limited fund for community-based, substance abuse prevention programs intended to make positive changes in the lives of Idaho’s citizens and communities.

There are two funding applications available. Please read the application descriptions carefully. Use of the wrong application will render your application non-compliant.

1. Direct Service Funding Application – This funding application is designed for agencies seeking funding to provide substance abuse prevention services directly to youth, families and other at-risk individuals of Idaho. All applicants will need to submit a complete funding application, as well as the usual required documentation.

2. Coalition Funding Application – Coalitions applying for SFY 2013 funding should focus on efforts to change the shared environment and raise awareness of substance abuse issues at the community level.
